Hale-Bopp over shuttle pad 39B was taken facing east on the morning of March 15, 1997 after shuttle roll-out and Hale-Bopp over Shuttle Columbia was taken facing northwest the night of April 2, 1997 prior to launch of STS-83. When Dr. Alan Hale and Thomas Bopp visited Kennedy Space Center these were the photographs that were presented to them in 16x20, signed and numbered by the photographer.
